- Ms Moonlake Lee
Moonlake Lee is the Founder of Unlocking ADHD. A multi-hyphenate, Moonlake has been a lawyer, healthcare marketer, investor, mentor, runner and community builder. Her education and career spans USA, Canada and Singapore. She was an awardee of the inaugural Singapore 40-over-40 Inspiring Women in 2021 in the Social Contributor category.
Moonlake’s daughter was diagnosed with ADHD in 2018 at age 15 and Moonlake was diagnosed a year later at the age of 50. In less than 3 years, her daughter transformed from a failing student to being able to enter a competitive university course in the United Kingdom. This was only possible through diagnosis and management of ADHD, together with the support of professionals and family plus a lot of hard work by her daughter. Moonlake believes that every individual is precious, and her life purpose is Uncovering Diamonds – to give each person with ADHD hope for a brighter future.
Unlocking ADHD’s Mission is to Empower ADHDers & their Families to Live Life to the Fullest. The organization’s goal is to unlock the hidden potential in ADHDers and help them discover their strengths. The ADHD brain has been described as a “Ferrari engine with bicycle brakes” – Unlocking ADHD aims to play a role in strengthening the brakes through providing information, resources, support groups and executive function / parent coaching services.
