BIOGRAPHY
Ryan serves as a Senior Educational Psychologist, bringing with him over 15 years of experience in supporting people with special needs like autism and intellectual disabilities.
With extensive tenures at Rainbow Centre, Yishun Park School, and MINDS Lee Kong Chian Gardens School, Ryan has been a steady presence in the lives of those with special needs. He assists those grappling with issues like aggression, self-injury, gaming addiction, and OCD. He also spearheads crisis support services and holds certification as a Trainer for Managing Actual and Potential Aggression (MAPA, CPI).
Presently, Ryan leads assessment and intervention services in the Rainbow Centre Disability Case Management Programme, where he offers dedicated support to patients with complex needs like severe autism, intellectual disabilities, OCD, and ADHD, in close collaboration with mental health professionals in the Institute of Mental Health. By collaborating closely with community partners, nurses and doctors, his mission is to reintegrate them back to schools, community or supported living.
Ryan has partnered with mainstream schools to support children dealing with dyslexia, ASD, ADHD, and other special needs. He provides ASD assessments, behaviour assessments, learning assessments, intervention support, and consultancy services for teachers and parents.
Kind, compassionate and empathetic, Ryan believes in working closely with his clients and family members to unlock their true potential. Building on the success stories of each family he has served, he firmly believes many problems can be solved by working closely together. Always going the extra mile, he hopes to empower them to lead fulfilling lives within their homes and society.
